What We Do

The Rev is a ministry. A ministry made up of servant leaders dedicated to helping other ministries. We believe the borders of The Kingdom are much more important that the small space we occupy. Our purpose is to come alongside, to partner with, and to empower people and churches to fulfill their piece of the Great Commission. Although we offer traditional (and not-so-traditional) church services at various locations, this is not our main vision, only a small piece.

Purpose

The Rev Ministries is about reaching out to the world around us. We want to welcome and teach the unsaved. We want to train and encourage our fellow Christians to serve. All in done in accordance with :

Matthew 25:35-40

35 For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you took care of Me; I was in prison and you visited Me.
37 "Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink?
38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or without clothes and clothe You?
39 When did we see You sick, or in prison, and visit You?

40 "And the King will answer them, 'I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.'

and Matthew 28:19-20

19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. "
We believe there is a Revival going on right now all around us. God is waking up something deep inside of many. He is bringing back to life the dreams, visions., and hopes of those who call Him Father. The Spirit of God is opening the heart and minds of those hungry for relationship. The Revelation of His love and His Mission is becoming more and more clear. This awakening coupled with the knowledge He is bringing, will usher in Revolution; a sudden and dramatic change in the situation. The time has come; YOUR time has come to be part of something real, something eternal.

Statement of Faith

In faith and practice, we; believe:

1. The Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testament, is the revelation of God to mankind, is verbally and fully inspired by Him, is without mistake or error in its original manuscripts, and is the supreme and final authority for all Christian faith and conduct.(2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21, Deuteronomy 29:29)

2. In one eternally existent triune God - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. (Genesis 1:1, John 10:30, 37-38)

3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death as penalty for our sins, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, personal return in power and glory, and in the power of the Holy Spirit that indwells arid guides believers in godly living and service. (Matthew 1:23, John 11:25-26,1 Corinthians 3:16)

4. That we are all sinners, separated from God. Through repentance of sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord, we are born again and receive the gift of salvation. (John 1:12-13)
